Graduated of the Mathematics and Informatics Faculty of Brasov.

1968 - 1971 practicing JUDO at the SOIMII Club from Sibiu.

1972 - 1976 memmber of the Karate Club of the Brasov University under the direct guidance of the late regretted Dorel Negrea .

Technical seminars with great Japanese Masters such as :  Hirokazu Kanazawa Kancho, 10^th Dan;  Manabu Murakami Sensei, 6^th Dan; Hitoshi Kasuya Sensei, 7^th Dan;  Koichi Sugimura Sensei, 7^th Dan;  Ilja Iorga Sensei, 7^th Dan;  Hiroshi Shirai Shihan, 8^th Dan;  M.Watanabe Sensei, 7^th Dan; Takogi Mio Sensei, 6^th Dan;  Hidetaka Nishiama Shihan, 9^th Dan; Keigo Abe Shihan,  8^th Dan etc.

Shotokan ranks : 1990 - SHO DAN with I.Iorga Sensei, 7^th DAN; 1994 - NI DAN with H.Kasuya Sensei, 7^th DAN;  1999 - SAN DAN with H.Kanazawa Kancho, 10^th DAN.

President and Chief Instructor of the Karate Ippon Club.

Founder of the following organizations :  FRAM, FRKM, Romanian SKIF, Romanian WTKO/JKA.

Large competitive experience  technical and theoretical for more than 30 years.
